About
The Melanin Impact Collective (MIC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to uplifting and empowering minority communities by serving youth, women, and men—while instilling the importance of collective service to the entire community.

For Youth, MIC provides mentorship, internships, educational opportunities, and scholarships. We go a step further by reserving two youth board positions annually, empowering teens to gain leadership experience, learn the fundamentals of running a nonprofit, and engage in meaningful community impact.

For Women, particularly single mothers, MIC offers direct financial assistance, uniquely curated events designed to foster community building and deep connections, and opportunities for women to collectively mentor and give back to the next generation of female leaders.

For Men, MIC curates opportunities for mentorship of young male teens and organizes networking and fellowship events that promote unity, emotional support, and purposeful community engagement.

Founded by longtime philanthropist and youth advocate Tomika Gamble, The Melanin Impact Collective reflects her passion for creating spaces that elevate and serve. Gamble is also the owner of Gamway Strategic PR & Events, which produces experiences like Black Excellence Unleashed—a signature event created to celebrate the brilliance, resilience, and cultural legacy within the Black community.

Together, we are building a movement that values leadership, legacy, and lasting change—powered by purpose, rooted in culture, and led with heart.
